Second eight Tuesdays of the season, ending on the Tuesday before Labor Day.
SYC Friday Night Series (Tracking Playback 2024)
Race dates in 2025 are not yet scheduled. Dates in 2024 were Friday evenings May 31, June 7, June 14, June 28, July 12, July 19, August 2, August 9, and August 23. Nine (9) race nights scheduled! All non-spinnaker, $50 for the season. Bring-your-own-food gathering at SYC after each race. Races usually start south of the Stamford Lighthouse, but check the Sailing Instructions. These races are open to EVERYONE. Registration is available at SYC Friday Night Series. The Cows Race of Saturday afternoon, September 21, 2024 is not part of the series, but is similar. It adds a Cows-related rule and has a separate YachtScoring page.
SYC Overnight Race August 15, 2025 (tentative date), Vineyard Race August 29-August 31, 2025, Denmark Race September 7, 2025.
Storm Trysail Club’s Block Island Race starts on Friday, May 23, 2025.
HYC Stamford Mayor’s Cup Race is on Sunday, June 8, 2025. Tracking playback. Registration will be on Yachtscoring.
HYC Nellie Guernsey Memorial Race is on Saturday, September 14, 2024. Tracking playback.
Storm Trysail and Riverside YC host the Shearwater Regatta on the weekend of September 14-15.
